Sporting KC Academy Players in College

Here is this week's update of Sporting KC academy kids in college.

Class of 2013

Joe Amico (Jacksonville) - D - Sr - Came on as a substitute in Jacksonville's 3-0 win over Georgia Southern and their 2-0 win over USF.

Matt Bernard (Cal Baptist) - MF - RJr - Came on as a substitute in both Cal Baptist's 2-1 win over Sonoma State and 2-1 win over Chico State, scoring a goal in the second game.

Paul Dean (Rockhurst University) - D - Sr - Started Rockhurst's 2-1 win over Fort Hays, their 3-0 win over UW-Parkside, and their 3-1 win over Lewis.

Seo-In Kim (UCSB) - MF - Sr - Did not play in UCSB's 4-2 loss to Butler.

Adam Lightner (Northern Illinois University) - D - Sr - Started Northern Illinois' 1-0 loss to Binghamton and their 3-0 loss to Utah Valley.

Clay Stewart - (University of Missouri Kansas City) - MF/D - Sr - Did not play in UMKC's 2-0 loss to Drake.

Wes White (Coastal Carolina) - F - RJr - Started Coastal Carolina's 0-0 draw with UAB and their 1-0 win over South Carolina.

Drew Wilson (Fort Hays State University) - D - Sr - Started Fort Hays' 2-1 loss to Rockhurst and their 2-1 win over Texas A&M International.

Class of 2014

Darby Cronin (Missouri State)- MF - Jr - Did not play in either of Missouri State's games.

Heath Honold (West Virginia) - F - Jr - Started #22 West Virginia's 1-0 win over ETSU.

Mason Leonard (Drake) - D - Jr - Started in both Drake's 3-2 win over Milwaukee and their 2-0 win over UMKC, scoring a goal in the second game.

Blake Levine (Baker) - F - Jr - Started and scored a goal in #10 Baker's 3-0 win over Goshen and started their 2-0 win over Park.

Matthew Lewis (Fordham) - D - Jr - Started both Fordham's 2-1 win over Fairfield and their 3-1 loss to Lafayette.

Andy Lopez (North Carolina) - MF - RSo - Came on as a substitute in North Carolina's 3-2 win over VCU. Did not play in either 1-0 win over Clemson.

Noah Mudd (Trevecca) - D - Jr - Started Trevecca's 1-1 draw with Cedarville and their 3-2 loss to Ohio Valley.

Joey Piatczyc (West Virginia) - MF - Jr - Started and had an assist in #22 West Virginia's 1-0 win over ETSU.

Cole Stevenson (Fordham) - F - Jr -Started both Fordham's 2-1 win over Fairfield and their 3-1 loss to Lafayette, scoring a goal in the first game.

Zach Wright (North Carolina) - F - Jr - Started and had 2 assists in UNC's 3-2 win over VCU. Started and scored a goal in UNC's 1-0 win over Clemson.

2015

Andrew Blalock (Drake) - GK - RFr - Did not play in either of Drake's games.

Robert DeWitt III (Xavier) - MF - So - Did not play in either of Xavier's games.

Jack Freeman (Furman) - D - RFr - Did not play in either of Furman's games.

Bryce Gibson (Creighton) - D - So - Came on as a substitute in both Creighton's 1-1 draw with Omaha and their 3-0 win over Penn.

Nic Jaimes (Drake) - MF - So - Started both Drake's 3-2 win over Milwaukee and 2-0 win over UMKC.

Ryan Krutz (Notre Dame) - GK - So - Did not play in Notre Dame's 4-1 win over Virginia Tech.

Zane Moxley (Air Force) - D - So - Came on as a substitute in Air Force's 6-0 win over Bryant. Did not play in Air Force's 2-1 win over UCR.

Alexis Quevedo (UNLV) - MF - So - Did not play in UNLV's 4-2 loss to Pacific. Came on as a substitute in UNLV's 4-1 loss to Saint Mary's.

Hector Solorio (Niagara) - MF - So - Started both Niagara's 3-2 loss to NJIT and Niagara's 1-0 los to Saint Francis.

Tucker Stephenson (West Virginia) - F - So - Came on as a substitute in #22 West Virginia's 1-0 win over ETSU.

Andy Velez (JCCC) - MF - So - Defeated KCKCC 6-2, lost 6-1 to Lewis and Clark, and defeated Southwestern Illinois College 5-2.

Bailey Weeks (Northeastern State University) - D - So - Did not play in any of Northeastern's games.

2016

Dakota Karns (Missouri State) - MF - Fr - Did not play in either of Missouri State's games.

Ryan Kellogg (West Virginia) - D - Fr - Came on as a substitute in #22 West Virginia's 1-0 win over ETSU.

John Leisman (Yale) - F - Fr - Came on as a substitute in Yale's 2-2 draw with Michigan and their 2-0 win over Sacred Heart, scoring a goal in the second game.

Logan Lucas (West Virginia) - D - Fr - Started and had a goal in #22 Wes Virginia's 1-0 win over ETSU.

Andrew McLeod (Northwestern) - D - Fr - Came on as a substitute in Northwestern's 4-1 loss to Marquette, but did not play in Northwestern's 1-0 loss to Ohio State.

Absalom Solorio (Niagara) - MF - Fr - Started both Niagara's 3-2 loss to NJIT and Niagara's 1-0 los to Saint Francis.

Paul Whitener (Marshall) - MF - Fr - Came on as a substitute in Marshall's 1-0 win over Appalachian State.
