Collin Traded to New York - Former SKC Wizards Update

It'd been a rough second season in Orlando for former Kansas City defender, Aurelien Collin. The Frechman lost his starting job at Orlando and had made just two appearances for the club. This past week though Collin was traded to the New York Red Bulls in exchange for a conditional draft pick. The move is a good one for the Red Bulls who won't be fronting all of Collin's salary and will get a proven center back who can help them work through their current injury issues along the back line.

Elsewhere, the 2016-2017 CONCACAF Champions League is taken shape, and a former player could be making an appearance at Children's Mercy Park later this year. Daneil Cyrus and W Connection qualified for this year's tournament after taking second this past week at the CFU Club Championship for Caribbean teams to qualify. Also qualifying was Central FC also out of Trinidad and Don Bosco out of Haiti.
