Okugo Training with DC - Former SKC Wizards Update

Reports out of DC today are that former Kansas City midfielder, Amobi Okugo is training with DC United right now. After appearing just twice for KC in his career with Sporting, Okugo has been without a club since being waived in February. DC United looks like they could be in the market for a defensive midfielder based on Ben Olsen's quotes about fitness issues with Finnish international Markus Halsti.

Elsewhere, it appears that Khari Stephenson has called time on his career as a professional soccer player, the 35 year old has been without a club since not being re-signed by the San Jose Earthquakes. Also, congratulations are due to Chris Konopka, who recently signed with Ross County. His first time making the game day roster was as the club's back up for their 2-1 League Cup final win over Hibernian. Konopka was signed as an injury replacement due to a number of injuries to Ross County goalkeepers.
