Johnson Retires - Former SKC Wizards Update

A move that has been common knowledge for most fans for most of the season was made official this past week. Former Kansas City forward, Eddie Johnson officially retired from professional soccer at the age of 31. After a hospital visit before the playoffs last year with DC, Johnson didn't participate in preseason training with DC this past year and reportedly had his contract voided in May. Up until last year, Johnson had the second highest single season goals scorer record with 15.
