While most eyes in the American soccer world are focused on the Rose Bowl, there is one MLS match up tonight as the Colorado Rapids host the Montreal Impact in a make up game from earlier this year when the Impact were playing in the CONCACAF Champions League. In the midweek KC got both results they probably wanted as Montreal lost to New York (again KC's Supporters' Shield chances were basically non-existent before that game) and Dallas and Vancouver tied.
Montreal at Colorado
What we want to happen - Colorado win
A win for the Rapids would mean that Montreal would have to win out and KC would have to lose out for the Impact to have a chance of moving ahead of KC for points this year and the ability to host MLS Cup should both teams make it. Meanwhile the Rapids are eliminated from the playoff hunt already.
