Gardner Joins SKC Academy, Gomez and Cyrus Return to MLS - Former SKC Wizards Update

Another week of former player updates. First, former KC defender, Josh Gardner has retired from one man volleyball and has taken a job as the U14 academy coach for the Sporting KC academy as the team restructured a little bit and got each of their teams a separate coach.

Also this past week, the transfer window for MLS closed, and two former KC players are back in MLS. Herculez Gomez who signed with Toronto after they acquired his MLS rights from KC has returned from Mexico, while Daneil Cyrus, who had played with the team on loan in 2011 has returned to the league on loan again, this time to the Chicago Fire.
