Johnson's Career Appears to be Over - Former SKC Wizards Update

Eddie Johnson hasn't played for DC United this year, he's been on an excused leave from the team because of an issue with his heart that was found last year during the playoffs. It now appears that the heart condition will force the one time Wizard and US international to retire from the game. While Johnson scored the third most goals in a single season for Kansas City, he's probably best remembered for his miss in the 2012 US Open Cup final when he was a member of the Seattle Sounders.
