With his loan to Sporting KC expired, Igor Juliao has returned to his parent club, Sporting KC partner, Fluminense. And while Sporting KC is trying to bring the Brazilian back, Peter Vermes is also moving on as if Juliao will not be back.
Fluminense is moving forward as well as they are beginning their preseason for their upcoming season. And Juliao is being included in Fluminense's plans as he's on their roster that has come to the United States and training in Orlando. He's one of only two players that Fluminense sent out on loan this past year who the club will be looking to use in the upcoming season.
Juliao returning to Fluminense and playing for them in preseason shouldn't have Sporting fans 100% certain that he won't return to Kansas City though. Jimmy Medranda, who'd been on loan to Kansas City in the 2013 season played for his club Deportivo Pereira in their preseason before returning permanently to Kansas City. So we'll see if Juliao returns to KC or stays with his Brazilian side.
