KC fans really only got one result I said we were hoping for yesterday, that was LA's win over Toronto. Although Columbus losing to New England wasn't the worst thing in the world. Now it's time to take a look at Sunday's games.
Seattle at Colorado
What we want to happen - Doesn't matter
Seattle is already out of reach of Sporting Kansas City catching point wise. The same holds true for Colorado, who can be eliminated from the playoff picture today. But I think a majority of KC fans will be rooting for Colorado to win.
Montreal at Chicago
What we want to happen - red cards for Chicago or yellows to Segares/Soumare
Neither of these teams can catch KC. But Friday, Chicago finishes their three game stretch in nine days at Sporting Park. So for the most part, KC fans can root for red cards for the Fire or yellow cards to Gonzalo Segares and Bakary Soumare who are suspended with their next yellow. Anything less than a win today though and the Fire are eliminated from the playoffs.
Salt Lake at Chivas
What we want to happen - Chivas win
That's really asking a lot, but a Chivas win keeps RSL within touching distance for KC to catch when it comes to potential hosts of MLS Cup should both teams make it.
