For the second time in as many weeks, Sporting KC's two affiliates met in USL-Pro league play. And like last week in Oklahoma City, Orlando again came out on top. This time, Orlando picked up a 3-1 win over the Energy to keep them at the top of the league.
For the winners, midfielder Mikey Lopez played a minor role, coming off the bench and playing just one minute for the Lions.
KC's other three loaned players started for the Energy. Jon Kempin once again got the start in goal for the Energy. Kevin Ellis also got the start and played the full game on the back line for OKC. KC's final loaned player, Christian Duke returned from injury for OKC after missing the last few games. Duke started and played 74 minutes before being subbed out for the Energy as they chased the game down 3-1 at that time.
