Thomas Named OKC Captain - Former SKC Wizards Update

Sporting Kansas City's USL-Pro affiliate, Oklahoma City kicked off their season this past weekend in Los Angeles against Orange County and the LA Galaxy II. The team which features two loaned KC players, also features three former Sporting players and one former academy player. Of those six players with ties to Kansas City, another former Sporting player, Jimmy Nielsen, named one his captain. Michael Thomas, who has played in Sweden and KC in his career was named the Energy's first team captain by Nielsen ahead of their first games last weekend. Here's this week's update.
