Updating more stats, this time it is players who were capped for their national team while representing Kansas City as well. This year, Sporting had five new players earn caps with national teams, led by Matt Besler, who along with Graham Zusi made the second most appearances in a calender year for a national team while members of Sporting KC, with 12. Their caps are only topped by Preki's 14 that he had for the US in 1998. Also joining the list this year was Mechack Jerome with Haiti (6), Soony Saad with Lebanon (2), Benny Feilhaber with the US (1), and Oriol Rosell with Catalonia (1). I am counting Rosell's friendly appearance because I've also counted Stephane Auvray's appearances with Guadeloupe. Here is the full list.

Still lacking Takawira's appearances for Zimbabwe while playing for KC. One day I hopefully will get that list. KC could have two more players join this list in early February with Chance Myers and Seth Sinovic currently with the US national team for their World Cup preparation camp in LA.
