Sporting Kansas City will have a new television partner next season. KMCI, 38 the Spot announced today that they will be broadcasting up to 26 games of Sporting's next year. It was also announced that their sister station, KSHB will be broadcasting some programing as well throughout the season.
Sporting will move away from KSMO after they'd broadcasted games for the last few years. The 26 games seems a little low considering the fact that Sporting played 34 games this past year, but KC had a number of games on national television this year, both home and away so the expectation has to be that Sporting will have a number of games on national television again next year.
