The Haitian national team has named their roster for the upcoming Gold Cup. Sporting KC's Haitian duo, Mechack Jerome and Peterson Joseph will both on the team. The two left Kansas City on Tuesday to join their national team in Canada where they are training and playing friendlies ahead of the tournament. Haiti is in group B in the Gold Cup, with Honduras (who they play July 8th), Trinidad and Tobago (July 12th), and El Salvador (July 15th).
During the tournament Jerome and Joseph will miss at least four games, Saturday against the Crew, July 3rd against Vancouver, July 7th in Chicago, and July 13th in Toronto. If Haiti advances, the duo would miss KC's game in Salt Lake on the 20th. The only other game they could miss is if Haiti were to make the final and that'd be KC's trip to Montreal on the 27th.
