Sporting KC has a 3rd player that is going to be spending time with their national team this coming week. Today the US announced their roster for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Jamaica. Sporting KC midfielder, Graham Zusi has been named to the US roster for the games. The US play in Jamaica on September 7th in Kingston at "The Office" and they return to the USA to play Jamaica again on the 11th at Columbus Crew Stadium.
The US roster is without two of the team's best players with Landon Donovan and Michael Bradley both missing out due to injuries. That'll be a big blow, but it could be something that possibly allows Zusi to step up. While he's gone, Zusi will not miss any games for Sporting KC as the team is off next week due to the international break. Zusi joins Roger Espinoza and Peterson Joseph as those that will be joining their national teams.
