The MLS disciplinary committee came out with one announcement today regarding a retroactive suspension from this past weekend's games. The one suspension announced is from KC's game against Columbus. Columbus Crew forward, Emilio Renteria has gotten himself a 1 game suspension for his head butt on KC midfielder, Paulo Nagamura.
On the play, Nagamura fouled Renteria, earning himself a yellow card. Renteria got up and got in the face of Nagamura, heading butting him. Credit to Nagamura, he didn't take a dive on the play staying on his feet after Renteria head butted him. At the time, the referee only gave Renteria a yellow card, but the disciplinary committee saw it differently. See the play below.
