The Swope Park Rangers open their season against Creighton University, 3 days after the season opener against DC United. They then kick off their "league" season a week later in Salt Lake against RSL. They play their next 4 games at home, all at LiveSTRONG Sporting Park.
The full team will then travel to Chicago on the weekend of May 12th, because the day after the first team plays the Fire, the reserves play the next morning. Double the games for a Cauldron road trip, as long as at least 1 bus is willing to leave Chicago around noon.
After the Chicago game, the Rangers play only 1 game in June, 1 in August, and 2 in September. Certainly a front loaded schedule for the reserves. Hopefully some other games get scheduled in there as well.
The best part of the schedule for me though, has to do with the times of the games in Kansas City. Of the 6 reserve games that they've announced, 5 of them are at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park, and will be played in the evening. That means, should the games be open to the public (and I have no reason to believe that they won't, there's a greater likelihood of fans being able to attend.
Here is the team's schedule.
