Sunday After Stats

Playoffs feel so good.

Last night was the 12th league win, and 15th in all competitions this year, the most since 2004 when the team had 14 league wins and 20 in all competitions.

Teal Bunbury scored his 14th league goal, breaking his tie with Matt McKeon, Jose Burciaga, Sasha Victorine, and Claudio Lopez and moving into a tie with Jack Jewsbury for 13th on that list.

Bunbury's goal was his 16th in all competitions, breaking his tie with Burciaga, Victorine, Lopez, and Jewsbury, and moving him into a tie for 16th with Francisco Gomez.

Thierry Henry's red card was the 13th this season in a Sporting KC game (8 for KC 5 for opponents), that's the second most in a single season in team history after the 2009 season (6 for KC, 10 for opponents).

It's also the 13th in all competitions in Sporting KC games, behind the 21 in the 2009 season (9 for KC, 12 for opponents).

Matt Besler has played 2,790 minutes this season in league play, that's the 10th most in a single season for a player for KC.
