Espinoza and Honduras Fall to US
Roger Espinoza put in another solid performance for Honduras going 74 minutes, but Honduras fell to the US 1-0 tonight down in Miami on a nice finish by Clint Dempsey. Sporting KC's other player involved in this game, Teal Bunbury, did not make the 18 man US roster for the game tonight. Espinoza played the role that he's made his own for Honduras as of late. Starting out on the wing but sliding more centrally at times as well. He mixed it up with his friend Kyle Beckerman a few times in the first half, getting the better of the Real Salt Lake midfielder on a few occasions. A very strong performance by the Honduran after he'd missed KC's last two league games due to a leg injury. Honduras takes on Jamaica this coming week in Honduras while Bunbury and the US head to New York to take on Ecuador.
