Kansas City used some strong defense to hold off the Philadelphia Union in Philly on Wednesday, and are coming off short rest to play the Whitecaps. I'm not sure how much rotation in the lineup we're going to see for this game, but I'm sure we'll start to see the squad rotation come in to effect very soon with all the home games coming up. Aurelien Collin is back from his yellow accumulation suspension and seems likely to regain his starting spot. Julio Cesar played well replacing him, but I'm still don't feel comfortable with him back there. Teal Bunbury's former being close to absolute zero right now is also very concerning heading into this busy stretch, at this point starting CJ Sapong over him isn't even a question. Sapong's form is much better at this point.

Number to Remember - 3 - The number of days since KC's last game in Philly on Wednesday. Not a whole lot of time to recover. Especially when you have to travel from the East Coast. Hopefully Vancouver's trip from the West Coast is just as stressful for them.
Key Match Up - Aurelien Collin vs Eric Hassli - It seems I'm selecting Collin's match up every week, but each and every game I'm seemingly enjoying every match up that involved Collin. Just because of the way he plays. He's the type of player that you'd hate if you were playing against him, but love that he's on your team.
PREDICTION - Shockingly enough, if other results go KC's way, KC can pull off the foot of the Eastern Conference with a win. Certainly a game that KC has every ability to win. KC is playing better defensively lately, but the offense is going to have to pick it up a little bit to get KC a result. Vancouver has been playing better since Tom Soehn took over as their manager. Last week against Philly they picked up their second win of the season, but KC should be able to win this one at home against the Whitecaps.
KC - 2 (Sapong, Bravo)
VAN - 0
oh I remember that like it was yesterday, it was not an easy start for Kansas City club, but I think they did it ok
