Kempin Called Up to US U-18 Tournament

Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper, Jon Kempin will travel with the US U-18 team to Portugal for the Lisbon International Tournament later this month. The team departs on May 19th before their tournament opener on the 25th against the Netherlands. The next day the 18's take on the hosts Portugal before finishing the tournament against Finland on the 28th. Kempin and Jeff Gal of the Sockers FC are the two goalkeepers that will travel to Portugal. With the two keepers Kempin is sure to get at least one game and the best performer in the first two is likely to get the start in the third game.
