Time to start catching up on all my post season stat information. Here is the list of top scorers through the 2010 season. First here are the previous years for you if you want to see how the list has progressed.
1996 - 1997 - 1998 - 1999 - 2000 - 2001 - 2002 - 2003 - 2004 - 2005 - 2006 - 2007 - 2008 - 2009
There wasn't a whole lot of movement on the list this year for KC as a lot of the players on the list have moved on, but there are still a few active players on the list. Although that number will continue to drop in 2011.
1. Preki - 71 (-)
2T. Josh Wolff - 43 (-)
2T. Davy Arnaud - 43 (+2)
4. Chris Klein - 39 (-1)
5. Mo Johnston - 31 (-)
6T. Digital Takawira - 28 (-)
6T. Scott Sealy - 28 (-)
8. Mark Chung - 20 (-)
9T. Eddie Johnson - 17 (-)
9T. Jimmy Conrad - 17 (+1)
11. Chris Brown - 15 (-)
12. Jack Jewsbury - 14 (+4)
13T. Matt McKeon - 13 (-1)
13T. Jose Burciaga Jr. - 13 (-1)
13T. Sasha Victorine - 13 (-1)
13T. Claudio Lopez - 13 (-1)
17T. Igor Simutenkov - 12 (-1)
17T. Miklos Molnar - 12 (-1)
17T. Chris Henderson - 12 (-1)
20T. Francisco Gomez - 11 (-)
20T. Paul Wright - 11 (-)
20T. Kei Kamara - 11 (N/A) - Kamara joins the list after having a team leading 10 goals in the 2010 season to go along with the one that he scored in 2009. Kamara brought a combination of speed and strength that KC hadn't had on the team in a while, but with all the new offensive players it seems could be coming in and the continued development of Teal Bunbury it'll be interesting to see how far Kamara makes it up this list.
Who could join the list next season? I think Bunbury has a decent shot at making the list. Omar Bravo if he gets on a tear could possibly make the list as well. Here's the rest of the list of current SKC Wizards and their goals for KC.
Michael Harrington - 5
Teal Bunbury - 5
Birahim Diop - 5
Ryan Smith - 3
Shavar Thomas - 2
Roger Espinoza - 1
Graham Zusi - 1
Birahim Diop only needs 2-3 games to make the list:)
