Continuing to update my offseason stat information here on the blog. This time I'm updating the 10,000 minute club for the Wizards/Sporting KC. For league minutes, there was a new player added to the list, as Josh Wolff hit the 10,000 minute mark in league play, becoming the 11th Wizards player to hit that mark. Next year another new player should make it onto the list as well, as Michael Harrington is just over 700 minutes from 10,000. After him the next closest Wizards player is Shavar Thomas who is about 2500 minutes away, so depending on playing time he too has the potential to reach the club as well. Here's the list.
1. Kerry Zavagnin - 20,516
2. Nick Garcia - 20,158
3. Jimmy Conrad - 18,194
4. Davy Arnaud - 17,863
5. Preki - 17,818
6. Chris Klein - 16,381
7. Jack Jewsbury - 13,275
8. Mo Johnston - 12,600
9. Matt McKeon - 11,584
10. Josh Wolff - 11,467
11. Tony Meola - 11,331
In all competitions, Harrington did get himself into the 10,000 minute club, becoming the 15th player in all competitions to hit that mark. The closest player to reach the list next season is Shavar Thomas who is just over 2200 minutes away, so a decent season could see him get onto the list. Here's the all competitions list.
