Espinoza Not Named to Honduran Team

Honduras today named their roster for this January's UNCAF Nations Cup in Panama. Unfortunately for KC fans, Roger Espinoza was not one of the 24 players named to the roster. Espinoza's last appearance for Honduras was in the team's loss to Panama back in November. He was and unused substitute in Honduras' win in the return leg in December. Espinoza then didn't travel to Spain for the friendly this week against Catalonia. Hopefully Espinoza will be able to work his way back onto the national team, but at this point he'll now look towards preseason training with KC.
