Comets Sign Another Former SKC Player
Today the Comets announced the signing of 2 new players to 15 day contracts, one of which will be known to most SKC Wizards fans. That player is local product, Will John, who graduated from Rockhurst High School and played for the Wizards in 2006 and 2007 before moving to Europe. John is still currently a member of NK Vinogradar of the Croatian second division according to the Comets press release, so this sounds sort of like a loan of sorts. The Comets also signed defender Jamie Harding, who previously played for the KC Comets in their previous incarnation. Both players will be in uniform tomorrow night when the Comets take on the undefeated Baltimore Blast at the Independence Event Center. I'm hoping to make the game tomorrow to provide a live blog, but it's not guaranteed at this time.
