Coming up next week is the start of Sporting KC's trialist camp in Trinidad. Along with some of the Trinidadian players that have already been named previously, we have some more players that are going to be attending. As coach, Peter Vermes said in his interview with Thad, this is a combine for players from the Caribbean, South America, and Africa. It looks like there will be six Guyanese's at the event. The players are, Colin Nelson, the captain of the Guyana U-20 team, Clive Andries is another U-20 player, Richie Richards looks to be the goalkeeper for the U-20 team, Chris Camacho is a teammate of Richards for their club side Alpha United, who finished the regular season as champions. Denvor Dennis is the pool for the country's full national team, and finally Chris DeNobrega. The players were all chosen by the Guyana Football Federation Technical Committee to participate in the trial.
Also it looks like a member of the Gambian U-20 team could be participating as well. Omar Colley plays for Wallidan FC in Gambia along with being on the country's U-20 team. Colley was apparently on trial with the club in August this year and impressed enough to be invited back. It certainly seems like Colley will be one of the African players invited to participate in the games.

Nice to see them going on the usual track of Central and South America and possibly signing players from Africa or the Caribbean.
