Jon Kempin is making a return to the national team level. A pool keeper for the US U-18 team,
Kempin has been called up as an injury replace for the US Under-20 national team for the team's upcoming two games against Colombia and Mexico in the Toreno de las Americas. Kempin was called in to replace Cody Copper due to Copper's commitments to his club, Ipswich Town. Kempin keeps the number of professional players on the roster at 12. The other goalkeeper is a member of Real Salt Lake's Arizona academy. The US starts the tournament on the 26th against Colombia and will play Mexico on the 28th. Good luck to Jon.
