Sierra Leone will continue their quest to qualify for the African Cup of Nations next week, but they will do so without the Wizards leading scorer, Kei Kamara. Word out of Sierra Leone is that Kamara has been suspended by the Sierra Leone FA for the game on the 10th of October against South Africa. While the linked article does not give a reason for Kamara's suspension, one would think it would have to do with statements he's made in the past on his Twitter account, specifically after the draw against Egypt where he laid into the FA a bit about setting the team up for failure. This sucks for Kamara and his international career, but is good for the Wizards heading into a stretch where they need to win games to qualify for the playoffs and having Kamara around will certainly help.
I hope to find an article that is written about the interview Kamara mentions here, because I bet he's referring to the same incident.
