Trialists for KC

While the window of bringing in under contract players is closed, the window for unsigned players is still open. The names of 3 players are currently known for guys that are currently in camp. Rami Duani who was mentioned previously here is currently in camp. Also in camp currently is another Israeli Moshe Mishaelof, a defensive midfielder who most recently played for AEP Paphos FC in Cyprus. Mishaelof, like Duani has represented his country at the youth levels, but has not appeared for the first team. Finally, probably the biggest name, at least to those that follow Yanks Abroad, is Jemal Johnson. Johnson last played for Stockport County on loan from MK Dons. Johnson is an American that moved to England when he was 5. Johnson was in Manchester United's youth system and eventually signed to play for Blackburn Rovers. After playing little for Rovers and going on loan, Johnson has jumped around the lower divisions in England.

Overall none of the trialists are incredibly exciting. While KC could still stand to update their defense, the bigger need in my opinion right now is someone that can put the ball in the net. Johnson hasn't done that a ton, but has done well enough that he might be worth a shot. He'd likely play on the wing here on the right. Which is certainly a position KC could use. Thad has pictures of both Duani and Mishaelof on his blog.

Tell me Johnson wouldn't be a better option than Diop or Beasley?!

Could we get him for the price of Diop or Beasley?
