Today the Wizards made the official announcement of the Omar Bravo signing that Robb Heineman announced last night. Along with the announcement of the signing the Wizards announced that part of that deal is the fact that the Wizards and Chivas Guadalajara will play a home-home friendly series. During the Wizards preseason for the 2011 season, the Wizards will play down in Guadalajara against Chivas. Then once the Wizards stadium opens in June of 2011, Chivas will pay a visit to the Wizards at their new stadium.
This should make for an incredibly game, at least atmosphere wise, as Chivas is probably the most popular Mexican team in the US. Will make for a fun day when the day does come.
