Espinoza Goes 90 for Honduras
Roger Espinoza hadn't started any of Honduras' friendlies leading up to the World Cup, but today when the starting 11 was named for Honduras' World Cup opener against Chile, there was Espinoza's name, in the Honduran midfield. Not only did Espinoza get the start, but he went the full 90 minutes for Los Catrachos in their 1-0 loss to Chile in their Group H opener in Mbombela Stadium. Espinoza had a solid if not unspectacular performance, but it wasn't enough to help Honduras get an opening win in their group. Their next game is Monday against Spain.
