Wizards Lose to Galaxy

In a 60 minute game today in Arizona, the Wizards lost 1-0 to the LA Galaxy on the back of a Gregg Berhalter penalty kick after Eric Kronberg brought down Edson Buddle in the box. In the first 30 minute session, the Wizards fielded basically the same lineup as the first game against Chivas, with Kronberg being the only new face to the team, replacing Louis Crayton.

In the second half the Wizards fielded more of a reserve team, with more fringe players. There were a few people that didn't appear in today's game besides the aforementioned Crayton. Teal Bunbury and Igor Kostrov did not play again. They were joined by Korede Aiyegbusi, Zoltan Hercegfalvi, and Graham Zusi who all didn't appear today either. The Wizards will be back in action on Sunday when they take on the Galaxy again.
