Continuing my update of some stat stuff, here is an update to the list of the 10,000 minute club for the Wizards.
On the league list of 10,000 minute players, one new player joined the list, as Jack Jewsbury hit the 10,000 minute mark early in the 2009 season. Forward Josh Wolff almost made his way onto the list, but is currently 82 minutes shy of the 10,000 mark. If Kevin Hartman plays the majority of the minutes in goal for the Wizards this season, he too will likely hit the 10,000 minute mark, as he's played 8,100 coming into the 2010 season. The league 10,000 minute club now contains 10 players.
1. Kerry Zavagnin - 20,516
2. Nick Garcia - 20,158
3. Preki - 17,818
4. Chris Klein - 16,381
5. Jimmy Conrad - 15,912
6. Davy Arnaud - 15,521
7. Mo Johnston - 12,600
8. Jack Jewsbury - 11,600
9. Matt McKeon - 11,584
10. Tony Meola - 11,331
On the list for 10,000 minutes in all competitions, Wolff did join that list around the midpoint of the season. Wolff was the 14th Wizards player to hit 10,000 minutes for the club. He's likely to be joined by at least 1, and potentially 2 new players next season. Hartman is only 970 minutes shy of the 10,000 minute mark currently. Meanwhile, Michael Harrington would make the list if he plays just over 2,200 minutes this coming season. Here is the current list for all competitions.
1. Kerry Zavagnin - 25,270
2. Nick Garcia - 24,650
3. Preki - 20,637
4. Chris Klein - 19,437
