The scoring drought has continued and it just doesn't feel like there is an end in sight. The team is creating some chances each game but watching the team I honestly don't expect them to score. I think we could see another change or two to the lineup, as Josh Wolff is off the injury list and could be back. Also after his performance against RSL, Zoltan Hercegfalvi could get the start too. Here's what we could potentially see tomorrow.
Hartman
Watson - Conrad - Besler - Harrington
Hirsig
Arnaud - Jewsbury - Lopez
Wolff - Zoltan
Watson - Conrad - Besler - Harrington
Hirsig
Arnaud - Jewsbury - Lopez
Wolff - Zoltan
Key Match Up - Jimmy Conrad vs Sharlie Joseph - Joseph is still one of the best players in the league and will be a handful matched up against Conrad tomorrow. Whether it's just on set pieces or as Joseph as a forward, Conrad will have to be at his best to get the better of the match up.
PREDICTION - While New England has been a second home to the Wizards lately, I'm not confident, this team basically needs a make over. Whether that be starting an extremely young team or just benching certain players who now appear too comfortable in their position, something needs to happen. I just don't see it happening this weekend though, KC is in a deep rut and I just can't see it ending. Honestly, a fluke goal, an iffy PK converted, or even an own goal could change everything, but with how pathetic the offense has been it's hard to see.
KC - 0
NE - 1 (Joseph)
Besler, Hirsig, and Jewsbury in the middle...
ReplyDeleteNo wonder we're so hapless right now.
