Continuing Partnership

I'm continuing my partnership with Soccerpro.com, last year I reviewed a pair of their Nike Mercurial Talaria IV FG shoes. Tonight I'm reviewing the 2009-2010 Manchester United Away jersey from Nike. While they are not my top team any more, United was the first professional soccer team that I followed and became a fan of back in the early 90's. As for the jersey, I was actually surprised by the feel of it, it's a lot softer fabric than I am used to from Nike jerseys in the past, unlike previous jerseys by Nike, this one actually feels like I'd be comfortable playing a game in the jersey. The jersey is a NikeFit, which probably is part of the reason why the jersey is actually so comfortable.

I personally wasn't a big fan of the new jersey design for United when I originally saw it, but it's grown on me, and it's at least a unique design unlike what you see from other jersey manufactures, which is another plus for the jersey. And while United is known to wear red, I liked the look of the blue V on the jersey to contrast the red and yellow United badge. Overall I really like the jersey for it's comfort and the unique design of the jersey.

If you're a United fan, but want to stick with United's primary colors, Soccer Pro has a good selection of Manchester United jerseys, including the team's primary jersey, last year's jersey and other Red Devils' apparel. If Manchester United isn't your team, Soccer Pro also has plenty of other teams to choose from.

  2. I cant bring myself to wear either of my Man Utd jerseys because AIG is on their and they are basically evil. What do they do after basically failing and then being bailed out by the American tax payer? Continue the bad buisness practices and write buisness that they will take more loss on just to get more market share.

  9. Great update on ManU Jersey info. Any news on the actual release of SKC jerseys to the public? Seems like they would have liked to get them out before the holidays but I haven't seen anything besides t-shirts scarves and hats.
