For those of you waiting for some up to date stadium renderings of the Wizards soccer specific stadium, you can now breath a bit of a sign of relief.
On Lane4's site for the Trails development, they have posted some new renderings that look to be fairly official renderings of the facility. There are two photos of the new renderings,
one and
two. So those of you that were on the ledge wondering about the stadium and when we'd see renderings, take a deep breath and check out the photos.
Fantastic. Those look great, better than I expected. Surely there's more.
ReplyDeleteWonder about the timing though. The KC Business Journal article had me wondering if the stadium is ever going to happen.
As long as the Wizards change their name, I'm cool with it.
ReplyDeleteDo you guys think they can even draw a capacity crowd?
Yeah, holy crap, those look awesome. If it looks anything like that then, well, it'll be the bees knees! I'm excited

Seconded.
"Do you guys think they can even draw a capacity crowd?"
Again. Seconded.
Can Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Chivas, LA w/out golden nuts, draw capacity crowds?
ReplyDeleteCan NY out draw us THIS season?
Come on give us a break - Go away you troll...
Awesome!! If the final stadium is anything like the renderings, filling it up will NOT be a problem. They're getting 10,500 to show up at a minor league baseball field, many of whom sit on a grassy embankment with setting sun directly in their eyes. If anything, 18,500 might be too small.
