Pointed out to me in the comments section of my post yesterday about the weekly press conference, it's been confirmed that Roger Espinoza will be missing more time for the Wizards as he's been called up by Honduras for the Gold Cup. Espinoza only recently returned to the team after being called up for the recent World Cup qualifiers. Hopefully, unlike those, Espinoza will actually see the field. The tournament will run from July 3rd to the 26th. Espinoza will miss at least 2 league games, and potentially a third. He could also miss the Open Cup quarterfinals and semifinals if the Wizards advance, along with potentially missing the SuperLiga semifinal. So if Honduras were to make the finals, and the Wizards advance in all competitions, Espinoza could miss 6 games for the Wizards.
On July 8th, Espinoza's Honduran side will meet Davy Arnaud and the United States at RFK in Washington DC.

eGreat news indeed. Maybe Honduras will be in a tourney in August also?
Espinoza should be with the team for the call up in August so he'll be gone about 2 weeks then too.
We get it reepicheep you don't like Espinoza. Get over it
Reep- Give him a break, if he improves in decision making he could be pretty good, he is one of the few players on our team that can actually take ppl on 1v1.
at the very least he tackles hard :)
True, he does tackle hard.
