Arnaud Officially Called Up

The official US roster for the Gold Cup has been released today, and as I told you yesterday, Davy Arnaud is on it. The roster has plenty of talent players on it, many of whom did not travel to South Africa and are probably looking for a chance to impress coach Bob Bradley with less than a year before the World Cup starts. Arnaud will have his work cut out for him in getting playing time with guys like Jose Torres, Freddy Adu, Benny Feilhaber and others in the center of midfield. And guys like Eddie Gaven, Stuart Holden, and Robbie Rogers who can play out wide. Arnaud will have to earn his way onto the final roster, though, as this is only the preliminary roster. The final roster will only have 23 players.
