Schedule Change for the Wizards

August 8th, the Wizards were supposed to be in DC taking on United in MLS league play. That game has now been moved to September 9th. The reason for the move is the fact that DC has reached an agreement to play Spanish powerhouse, Real Madrid on August 9th at FedEx field. This match has been rumored for months now and has finally come true. The move means that the game will now be played on a Wednesday night in DC. It also means the Wizards will have a 3 game East coast road trip, as the Wizards play at New England on Saturday the 5th and New York on Saturday the 12th. Should make for a tiring 8 day run for the Wizards in that late part of the season.
