Juniors Join US Developmental Academy Program

The KC Wizards Juniors and the Houston Dynamo have become the 9th and 10th MLS teams to join the US Developmental Academy Program. The Juniors, Dynamo, and 3 other teams bringing the program up to 79 teams. The 5 programs were chosen from a group of 250 applicants based on their potential to generate future national team players based on their geographic location, history of player production, coaching staff and administrative capabilities. For a young program like the Juniors this is a huge step for them and fantastic news for them as they continue to grow. This will only help the Juniors program grow and hopefully help them to start producing some high quality players that will eventually join the Wizards first team.
