Wizards midfielder, Roger Espinoza got his first start with the Honduran national team today in the UNCAF Nations Cup 3rd place game against El Salvador. Espinoza took advantage of the start, scoring the lone goal in the game as Honduras won the 3rd place game. In the 30th minute, Espinoza received a nice pass from Emil Martinez, dribbled into the box and slotted the ball low and to the far post, a very clinical finish for the midfielder. Minutes before that, Espinoza had picked up a yellow for a poor challenge. Espinoza was subbed off in the 73rd minute, but overall had a very good performance for Honduras in his third appearance for Los Catrachos.
