It seems like only recently that the 2008 season ended, but already we are gearing up for the 2009 season. The Wizards will begin preseason training on Tuesday at either their Swope Park training complex or at the KC Sports Lodge. They'll continue training at one of the two sites for Wednesday and Thursday, before having Friday through Sunday off. Monday and Tuesday they will be back at it at Swope or the Sports Lodge. On Wednesday the 28th the team will leave for Bradenton, FL, where the team will train from the 29th through February 11th.
After the trip to Florida, the team will return to KC for a few days of training before departing for Guadalajara, Mexico on Feruary 18th to train at the home of sister club, Atlas AC until March 4th. Get ready, the 2009 season is right around the corner.
