The Wizards close out the first leg of their preseason workout today in Kansas City. Tomorrow the team heads to Florida to continue their training down at Bradenton. Like previous years, the Wizards will have some preseason friendlies while they are down there. A few of them appear to have been announced. The Wizards are listed 4 times on there, 3 during their time in Florida. If this information is all true, the Wizards will play the Chicago Fire on February 4th and New York on the 7th. They also have a game listed for the 11th, but the opponent is still to be determined.
The other interesting thing from that link, is that it lists a friendly on March 14th between KC and TBD. No time or location has been announced for the game either, but it's the week before the season starts. The Wizards will be back from training in Mexico by that time, so are we getting a home friendly before the season starts, or is this the Saturn Cup again?
