The Swope Park Rangers won their final game of the reserve league season, defeating the New England Revolution 3-0 last night after the first team's game. The reserves got goals from Ivan Trujillo and Lance Watson in the first half, before Michael Kraus finished out the scoring in the second half.
The win put the Rangers in a position to win the reserve league title if the Houston Dynamo reserves failed to win today against Chivas USA. Unfortunately, the Dynamo reserves won today in LA, giving them the reserve league title and forcing the Rangers to settle for second place.
