This Week's Interview Poll

Thad, over at The Back Post, and myself are continuing our weekly interview polls.

We pick a few players from the last game and put up a poll for you to decide on who should be interviewed (if possible). Vote either on this site, or over at The Back Post. In addition to that, feel free to post any questions you might have in the comments section of one of the two blogs. Please be considerate with the questions that you ask.

This week you have the choice of:

Jimmy Conrad - Team leading goalscorer, and saved the game for the Wizards Saturday night with his 5th goal of the season.

Kevin Hartman - Has been playing an MVP quality season in net, and just hit the 1100 save mark, only the second goalkeeper to do that.

Josh Wolff - The former Wizard returns from Germany, and has a goal and assist since returning.

  1. Jimmy,
Are you the forward we've been looking for since Molnar retired?

    Josh,
How has MLS improved since you left for Germany? How does MLS compare to B2 over there?

  2. Jimmy, Josh, and Kevin are always the focus, yet they're not the key for the rest of the season (meaning they are consistent enough), it's the various "x-factor" players I want to ask (tell) some questions of:

    Carlos,

What's the deal man? Why can't you get your head in the game/season? You could be one of the best playmakers in MLS, what gives?

    Roger,
    Chill man, settle down.

    Chance,
    Where'd you go?

    Claudio,
Use your right foot once an a while...you're awesome man, don't get me wrong...but use the righty. O.K.?

  3. As Mike said, be considerate, and none of those questions are actually being considerate.

    As for your questions,

Carlos: he's an injury prone pansy, he's gone.

Espinoza: he has calmed down and I think quite composed most of the time.

Myers: lost his starting spot to Jack, likely won't earn it back this season.

  4. The reason I never include Claudio is that I would probably not get an interview. He is media shy. I was really surprised they got him to do the press conference the other day.

I may try to interview Carlos one day soon, but not sure how good his English is and the availability of someone to translate.

The questions are not so much not considerate, but not really questions. I have ghad the opportunity to interview both Chance and Roger but passed for someone else that day. The next time I get a chance, I will talk to those guys for you.

  5. Any chance you remember what number Davy Arnaud wore when he made his US MNT debut vs Brazil last september in chicago?

  6. He wore number 21 against Brazil.

  7. reepicheep - (not necessarily directed at DTB or the Backpost because they've only done this twice now) I also feel like we spend time asking questions to the same players all the time. It would be nice to hear from some of the rest of the team.
