The Kings topped their group at Nationals today. They opened play with a 9-9 tie against Monterrey of Mexico. The Kings then defeated Performance FC from South Carolina 16-8 to help them win Group C. With the number 1 seed, the Kings didn't have to play a third game tonight, and instead will play the host team, Fredericksburg, who finished 2nd in Group A, tomorrow morning at 10:50 am. According to the blog entry on the Kings myspace page, Waza FC out of Michigan looks to be one of the strongest teams. Should the Kings beat Fredericksburg tomorrow they'd likely play Waza in the semifinals at 1:50.
