Wizards With the National Team

Two Wizards missed the last week of training with the Wizards due to their commitments with different levels of the US National Team.

Jimmy Conrad had been in LA at the Home Depot Center training with the US Men's National team in preparations for their game Wednesday against Mexico. Today the 22 man roster came out for the game, unfortunately, Conrad was not named to the 22 man roster. Barring injury, that means that Conrad should either be on his way to, or in Florida now training with the Wizards.

The other player, is Chance Myers, who has been down in Bradenton, FL training with the US Under 23 team. Today, Chance played the second half of the team's 2-0 win over the Wizards opening day opponent, DC United.

I assume that both will be joining the Wizards down in Bradenton now, where the team will have their first preseason scrimmage tomorrow morning against the US Under 17 team. Also mentioned in that link is the fact that Eloy Colombano has now officially joined the team down there.
