Brad Porter on his blog is reporting that the deal for Iván Trujillo is finally finalized, and that every thing is signed off on. Trujillo will not be joining the team, though, until they get down to Argentina for the next leg of their preseason. It's been no surprise that this has been coming, as the people in the front office I've talked to have made no effort to hide the fact that he's coming when I bring it up with them. It's good though that the deal finally looks done.
In other news from the blog, it looks like the injury to Roger Espinoza is serious. I reported yesterday that Espinoza had been hurt in practice, today we find out that Espinoza will miss the next 3-4 weeks because of a broken bone in his foot. Which is bad, because Espinoza was apparently impressing.
