Here we are, back again.
1996 - 1997 - 1998 - 1999 - 2000
The 2001 season saw quite a bit of turnaround from the championship season of 2000. Traded away were fan favorites Preki and Chris Henderson to Miami. In the place of Miklos Molnar up top, was then league all time leading scorer Roy Lassiter. The Wizards made the playoffs but were knocked out in the first round by... you guessed it, Miami.
The number in parenthesis after the goal total is the players change in position from the year before. Pictures on this entry will only be of players who are making their first appearance on the list, for pictures of each player, check previous entries. So here are the top scorers through the 1999 season. On to the rankings.

11T. Roy Lassiter - 7 (N/A) - As the leagues all time leading scorer heading into the season, many Wizards fans had high hopes for Lassiter coming in and filling the gap left by Molnar's retirement. Thigns did not go that well as in the 23 games he played he only scored 7 goals.

15T. Onandi Lowe - 4 (N/A) - Onandi came in half way through the season from Rochester to help add some scoring to the team. These were the only 4 goals Lowe scored in his 1 season with the Wizards.

20T. Kerry Zavagnin - 3 (N/A) - Kerry is better known for his work as a defensive midfielder then for his scoring ability. His emergence during the 2000 season helped thrust him into the national team picture for the coming years.
